RIX STRIDE ST3 Lite is built for hunters and landowners who actually get out and do the hard yards after dark. You’re looking at a true 1× helmet‑mountable thermal monocular with a 384×288 / 12 μm sensor, <20 mK sensitivity and a crisp 1024×768 OLED screen, so heat signatures pop cleanly even in warm, humid conditions. At 190 g and about 4.7 inches long, it’s genuinely lightweight, so you can run it on a lid all night without your neck blowing up. Detection out past roughly 850 yards on a man‑sized target means you’ll see pigs, foxes and two‑legged problems well before they’re in your space.
In the paddock it’s simple and effective: base mag is a natural‑feeling 1× for walking and driving, with digital zoom up to 6× when you need to tighten up on a target. The 17.5°×13.1° field of view (about 92 ft at 100 yards) gives you plenty of situational awareness for scanning fence lines, creek beds and crop edges.
